Abstract

Peripheral facial paralysis is a very frequent neurological condition. In most cases, a precise etiology, called idiopathic or facial palsy of Bell, cannot be established. The association of facial palsy and pregnancy is known. It is our objective to present a 27-year-old female patient attending the University Polyclinic "26 de Julio", who had this condition associated with her pregnancy and severe preeclampsia.
