Urinary incontinence is a common problem that ends up affecting a large part of women who practice strength sports, among which weightlifting and power lifting stand out. This is one of the topics that has little coverage in the scientific literature, but it is necessary to know it and highlight the importance of raising awareness about each of the risks and care to prevent this condition. It is evident that the practice of strength sports increases intra-abdominal pressure, generating weakness in the pelvic floor muscles, which leads to the development of urinary incontinence. Therefore, it is essential that women are educated about the importance of training and strengthening the pelvic floor, in this way they will be able to prevent it. In conclusion, it is essential to develop scientific studies from the sports field, in this way it will be possible to generate methods, techniques, strategies, prevention and strengthening treatments for women practicing strength training on urinary incontinence.
